The house Toto la Momposina is very beautiful, has many colors. It has spacious and welcoming, full of energy

In the living room. He has many photos with other artists and the awards received during his career. It is one of your favorite places in the house.

There is a garden with many trees , she likes because it is a place where she breathes pure air and meditates. There is a small dining room , she eats her breakfast there and ocasionally she shares with her friends there

The kitchen is colorful and big and it is next to living room. There is a dinning room. Is one a favorite place of Toto.She cooks for her family and friends. She loves to cook specially caribbean cuisine and there is a huge refrigerator to keep fresh ingredients.

In the second level there a balcony . She observes in the mornings all the city and some afternoons she wacthes the sunset.

Next to the kitchen , there a living room decorated with caribbean style. There are much colors, many flowers and craft objects. There Toto composes several her songs and she drinks a coffe.

In the principal room, she has a large armchair where she rests or reads before going to sleep. Is a very nice and comfortable place.

Another of her passions is sewing and she has a sewing room . She designs and sews some of her dresses there. Also has a closet , there she keeps her favorite clothes.

There is a special room for the photos and the complete collection of her records works.She likes this place because she observes all her artistic evolution through time.

Next to the living room , there a room for the handicrafts. For she the artisan objects are an expression of culture and she collects many objects that she buys in her trips or that her friends give her.

Sonia Basanta Vides ( Toto la Momposina) is a colombian Singer very famous for her traditional music.

Every day she does her job with love and passion. She visits houses of culture in the country and in other countries for to know the rhythms and traditions of other cultures and she does music whit every new knowledge. She goes to foundations for to contribute whit her music and talent.

She has presentations in nationals and internationals events and she visits her hometown Talaigua Nuevo Bolivar and there she sings whit the traditionals singers of the region.

She makes rehearsals with her artist friends , this moments are very important because she shares pleasant moments and is the opportunity for to do news musicals products.

Some days , she goes to record for her news discs and productions , she wants that the traditional music of Colombia does not get lost for the news generations.

She does her work whit the children for that they learn colombian music and value the essence of our traditions.

Also, she attends the journalists that want to do interviews and reports of her work and  contribution to the cultural preservation of the country.

Occasionally she cooks, she likes to cook and she is a expert in caribbean cuisine. Her friends praise her culinary talent and seasoning. She loves to cook and she surprises her friends and family with her récipes.

When she is at home, she likes to watch her records and the prizes won in her artistic career.
